Janet Hu

President and Founder

Janet is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has been working for the City of Calgary for over 15 years. She brings vast experience in financial analysis, reporting, auditing, and planning. Janet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. After moving to Canada, Janet received her Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Calgary. Janet is devoted to community services. She is passionate about youth and community development and empowerment.

James Zhan

Vice President and Founder

James Zhan is a professional engineer in Alberta and top 1 agent in Grand Realty. James holds a bachelor degree in Polymer Science and Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China and a Master of Engineering degree from University of Texas in Arlington, USA. James is enthusiastic about social welfare and supports various activities of the Chinese community.

Ying Wang

Ying is a Chartered Professional Accountant in an oil & gas related company.

Xin Grevers

Director of Board and Secretary

Xin works in the field of public health surveillance and public health research for the past 13 years. Xin holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Alberta and a Master of Science from the University of Saskatchewan. Xin is passionate about public health. She is devoted to promoting and improving health, wellness and quality of life for all. Joining ICUC is her way of giving back to the community and bringing care and compassion to friends and families in the communities we serve.

Doris Sun

Doris Sun

Director of Board

Doris moved to Canada in 2003 with 15 years of English teaching background. She started working as a car salesperson and worked her way up to a Business Development Manager in 3 years. She built her career through hard and hearty work and passionate services.
She loves people and is always willing to help those who are in need. She made lots of friends during the 18 years of working in multiple automotive brands. Currently, she is in charge of communication with other organizations for ICUC.

Liang is a VP in an oil & gas service company.

Jane Tang

Administrative Specialist

Jane is currently a senior corporate paralegal employed at a national law firm’s Business Law group since March 2013 and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Paralegals.  Jane has past committee involvement that includes sitting on a condominium board and serving on its Board of Directors along with annual participation in the MS Society Charity organization.  This experience has given her a deep appreciation for giving back to her community and nonprofits, while she strives to improve the quality of life in our region.
